NEXT STEP IS – 2nd Encounter is the second meeting of performance artists Sten Rudstrøm (USA/BERLIN) and Harald Kimmig (D/FREIBURG). Entering the stage with no plan, they craft a world of spontaneous performance. Listening and responding to each other’s actions, through physical expression and the integration of movement, music and language, they mold intimacy and force into a radical display of human behavior. Rudstrøm an improviser, performer and choreographer, Kimmig a well-known violinist and performer, both excel in the demanding world of immediate presence instant composition Their work characterized by their respective fields: Kimmig — his innovative approach to violin music and the integration of movement and music; Rudstrøm — pushing the boundaries of physical expression in voice & language and minting Action Theater™. This promises to be an exciting performance.
